I was looking through an old notebook and found verses that I had written down from the Bible. One passage was from Titus 3:3-7 and then verse 14 and it's SOOO amazing how it tells the Gospel. Pay attention as you read:
ONCE we too were foolish and disobedient. We were misled by others and became slaves to many wicked desires and evil pleasures. Our lives were full of envy and evil. We hated others and they hated us. BUT THEN God our Savior showed us his kindness and love. He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the spirit upon us because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did. He declared us not guilty because of His great kindness. AND NOW we know that we will inherit eternal life! (v.14) For our people should not have unproductive lives. They must learn to do good by helping others who have urgent needs.
I LOVE this!! If you have problems sharing the Gospel with others, just read this to people! Once we were this...but then this happened, and NOW look!!! It's awesome! And I love that it says we shouldn't have unproductive lives!! Do something! Help others! Be obedient! Shouldn't we anyway...because of the awesome things God has done for us? How can we NOT?
